Shifu Kheir Salam
Shifu Kheir Salam is a lifelong martial artist and one of the official representatives of Master Hai Yang. He specializes in Xing Yi Quan, White Crane Kung Fu, and Kickboxing.
His passion for martial arts began in early childhood. At the age of 4½, he started training in kickboxing under Grandmaster Ahmad Majed and earned his black belt from the Lebanese Kickboxing Federation at just 12 years old. This strong foundation in striking arts laid the groundwork for his lifelong dedication to both internal and external martial disciplines.
In 2007, Shifu Salam began studying Fujian White Crane Kung Fu under the late Grandmaster Lee Joo Chian and Master Lorne Bernard, continuing his advanced training with Grandmaster Augustin Ngu.
Under Grandmaster Lee’s direct instruction, he became the only student to learn the complete Flying Crane Qigong curriculum— Through decades of disciplined practice, he has become one of the few recognized experts in the Flying Crane system.
Shifu’s exploration of Xing Yi Quan began in 2009, but it was in 2016 that he undertook serious, in-depth training under Master Hai Yang. Since then, Xing Yi Quan has become the central pillar of his martial cultivation. Rooted in structure, intent, and unity of body and mind, Xing Yi training has profoundly deepened his understanding of internal power, strategy, and martial application.
Shifu Salam’s approach emphasizes not only technical skill but also the internal development that transforms movement into living expression. Through his teaching and lifelong dedication, he continues to preserve, refine, and share the wisdom of authentic traditional martial arts.
